Upcoming Reiki 3 Training with Ralph Dehner
Those who have been at Level 2 for at least 6 months are invited to attend this half-day intensive workshop and become a Master Level Reiki Practitioner. Please note, that this is a practitioner attunement and not a teacher certification. If you are interested in becoming a Reiki Master/Teacher, additional attunements and mentoring are required.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is an energy healing technique that originates in Japan. In Japanese "rei" means universal or divine source, and "ki" means life force or energy, similar to "qi" in traditional Chinese medicine. In the practice of Reiki, this universal life energy flows through the practitioner directly to the client, often through physical touch. Reiki promotes body harmony by balancing an individual's different energies on emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual levels.
How does Reiki work?
Across cultures human touch has always been used to comfort, soothe, and relieve pain. It is an instinct we all have. If we stub a toe or bang an elbow, the first thing we usually do is put a hand on the injury. If we see someone in emotional pain, we instinctively reach out to touch that person. There is no doubt that something about human touch is both healing and calming.

A Reiki practitioner has undergone an attunement process in which a Reiki master teacher opens up the energy system of the prospective healer so they can become a conduit for this healing energy at a greater intensity than the untrained person. A Reiki attunement can only be passed on by a trained master and cannot be achieved by self-study. The student receives certification from the master to provide evidence of his/her training.
